
It was with great regret that we recorded the passing of our first President Myfanwy Margaret Lumsden, daughter of Geraint Gcodwin. Myfanwy passed away peacefully on March 17th 2016, aged 82 years.
Hugh Goodwin, son of Geraint Goodwin kindly accepted to become the new President.

Thesociety has introduced Geraint Goodwin to its first international reader in Australia. She has purchased 'The Heyday in the Blood" and might propose it as a book to be read in her small local reading group.
Mary Oldhdham (now Dr Mary Oldham) gave a talk about Geraint to the Mary Webb Society http://marywebbsociety.co.uk . at the Birthday Lunch, Saturday 26th March 2011 in Snailbeach VIIlage Hall. Geraint met with Mary Webb when they were both living and working in London, and upon her death wrote an article about her entitled "Mary Webb: A
